Sources

When you complete an upload and the file passes its checks, we create a source from it.

A source gets its role when you add it to a session, and from then on it's kept as long as the session and deleted with it. A source that isn't in a session expires 7 days after its upload was completed, and we delete it soon after.

The source object

source_idstring
The source's ID.
upload_idstring
The ID of the upload the source came from.
filenamestring
The file name sent when the upload was created.
formatstring
The file's format: wav or flac.
channelsinteger
The number of channels.
sample_rateinteger
The sample rate in Hz.
duration_snumber
The length of the audio in seconds.
size_bytesinteger
The file's size in bytes.
devicenull
Always null.
statusstring
Always ready.
created_attimestamp
When the upload was created.
expires_atnullable timestamp
When the source expires, after which we delete it. For a source in a session, this is the session's expires_at.

Retrieve a source

Returns a source.

Needs the jobs:write scope.

DELETE/v1/sources/{source_id}

Delete a source

Deletes a source and its file. If the source is in a session, the request returns 409 conflict instead, and the source is deleted when you delete the session.

Needs the jobs:write scope.
